Curriculum

Literature Based Alternative School at Hubbard offers a strong curriculum, which includes math, science, social studies, health, art, music, (vocal and instrumental) and physical education. We use the same curriculum as other CCS schools, but with an emphasis on children’s literature. Our Literature Based/Language Arts program involves students in a wide variety of literary experiences that stimulate thinking, build vocabulary, and develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Students are exposed to many forms of literature and present their own pieces.
